Brand Info Shortly after leaving the family company in 1980, Geoff Hardy established Pertaringa, which has since continued to produce some of McLaren Vale's finest wines. The name Pertaringa means 'belonging to the hills' and originates from the local Kaurna indigenous language.

Story  In the Regional Series, Pertaringa has branched out from its McLaren Vale roots to explore the uniqueness and diversity of South Australia's iconic wine growing regions. Australia is known for its fine, fresh and fragrant Rieslings and no region can claim the lofty heights of this frame more than the Clare Valley in South Australia.

Vintage Spring and summer were cooler than normal with above average rainfall and the 2017 vintage happened much later than usual. The combination of those factors and dry weather for most of the harvest resulted in higher yields and excellent quality across regions.

Nose The nose offers beautiful floral aromas with notes of citrus and green apples.

Palate The palate is crisp and refreshing with lemon, key lime and green apples, followed by hints of kiwi fruit.

Food Pairings This wine goes really well with duck spring rolls and a chilli and lime dipping sauce.
