Story: Planted in the ancient soils of the K1 Vineyard, Gruner Veltliner has found a new home in the cool southern Adelaide Hills where it produces exceptional white wines that capture both the old-world essence of Austria and the modern vibrancy and clarity of Australia.

Vintage:   2022 Higher than average rainfall over winter followed by a warm and dry spring resulting in even budburst and a textbook start for the vintage. A cool but relatively dry summer gave us beautiful even ripening conditions. This slow ripening allows great flavour development and retention of natural acidity.

Nose: The Gruner Veltliner captivates with a nose highlighting bosc pear and refreshing cucumber notes.

Palate: The palate showcases a beautiful linear acid profile and a hint of lemon balm. With 20% skin contact for 10 days, this wine achieves a pure variety expression, providing a unique and well-defined tasting experience

Pairing: This wine pairs particularly well with Thai Beef salads loaded with bean shoots, corriander, mint and sweet chilli dressing.
