Brand Info Shortly after leaving the family company in 1980, Geoff Hardy established Pertaringa, which has since continued to produce some of McLaren Vale's finest wines. The name Pertaringa means 'belonging to the hills' and originates from the local Kaurna indigenous language.

Story This classic blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc is the ideal companion for a lakeside get-together in both the Old and New Worlds. Like best friends, these two grape varieties complement each other perfectly, with the Semillon adding a bit of complexity and body to the pure aromatic fruits and refreshing acidity of the Sauvignon Blanc.

Vintage The 2018 growing season started slowly, but warmer weather eventually helped to speed things up. Fruit set throughout the region was good and the low rainfall and warm weather from January to April resulted in great sugar development, while a cooler than average March offered ideal night temperatures for colour and flavour development.

Nose The nose offers beautifully vibrant aromas of citrus and tropical fruits.

Palate The palate is crisp and bright with lovely citrus flavours and a refreshing finish.

Food Pairings Try this wine with seafood dishes such as prawns with a watercress and mango salad, and watch a tropical marriage made in heaven come to life!
