Brand Info The GMH brand name reflects Geoff's initials and was originally made for the Canadian export market, but is today exported to several countries and also sold domestically. The GMH wines might be expressions of a single vineyard or regional blends, and are all made from premium fruit from (sustainably managed) vineyards around South Australia.

Story The Adelaide Hills is regarded as one of Australia’s most premium regions for growing Chardonnay. This lightly oaked Chardonnay is grown at the K1 by Geoff Hardy vineyard in the southern Adelaide Hills.

Vintage The 2018 growing season started slowly, but warmer weather eventually helped to speed things up. Fruit set throughout the region was good and the low rainfall and warm weather from January to April resulted in great sugar development, while a cooler than average March offered ideal night temperatures for colour and flavour development.

Nose The nose offers aromas of lemon rind, lychee and white pear blossoms with toasty almond notes to finish.

Palate The refreshing palate is lively with zesty notes of lime, green apple and green mango.

Food Pairings Try this wine with shellfish such as prawns served on a watercress salad with a mango dressing.
