Brand Info The GMH brand name reflects Geoff's initials and was originally made for the Canadian export market, but is today exported to several countries and also sold domestically. The GMH wines might be expressions of a single vineyard or regional blends, and are all made from premium fruit from (sustainably managed) vineyards around South Australia.

Story  The GMH White Meritage is made from white varieties commonly grown in the Bordeaux region of France. The 2018 vintage is made up of 54% Semillon and 46% Sauvignon Blanc.

Vintage The 2018 growing season started slowly, but warmer weather eventually helped to speed things up. Fruit set throughout the region was good and the low rainfall and warm weather from January to April resulted in great sugar development, while a cooler than average March offered ideal night temperatures for colour and flavour development.

Nose The nose offers vibrant, alluring aromas of passionfruit and tropical fruits.

Palate The palate is zingy and crisp with a long and refreshing finish.

Food Pairings Try this wine with shellfish such as prawns served on a watercress salad with a mango dressing.
