Brand Info Shortly after leaving the family company in 1980, Geoff Hardy established Pertaringa, which has since continued to produce some of McLaren Vale's finest wines. The name Pertaringa means 'belonging to the hills' and originates from the local Kaurna indigenous language.

Story Fresh and fruity with a gentle fizz, perfect for the warm summer months or simply because you like the sweeter things in life!

Vintage The 2018 growing season started slowly, but warmer weather eventually helped to speed things up. Fruit set throughout the region was good and the low rainfall and warm weather from January to April resulted in great sugar development, while a cooler than average March offered ideal night temperatures for colour and flavour development.

Nose The nose displays lively, fresh and fruity aromas of lychees, lanolin and lavender.

Palate The palate is fresh and bright with pleasant sweetness, excellently balanced by enough acidity to finish crisp and moreish.

Food Pairings A perfect wine for any time of the day, from breakfast with your Eggs Benedict, served over ice on a hot day after mowing the lawn or served with a light dessert such as pavlova with strawberries and cream.
