Brand Info Shortly after leaving the family company in 1980, Geoff Hardy established Pertaringa, which has since continued to produce some of McLaren Vale\'s finest wines. The name Pertaringa means \'belonging to the hills\' and originates from the local Kaurna indigenous language.

Story  Fresh and fruity with a gentle fizz, perfect for the warm summer months or simply because you like the sweeter things in life!

Vintage The 2019 growing season started with mild weather and below average rainfall. Some late spring rain provided a bit of relief from the dry conditions and contributed to lower crops due to the wet weather and windy conditions interfering with fruit set during flowering. A heatwave in January was luckily too early in the ripening cycle to cause any damage to the fruit. This was followed by a very mild and dry finish to the vintage, allowing good hang time and flavour development to the smaller than average crop.

Nose The nose offers delightfully fresh and vibrant aromas of lychees and a hint of lavender.

Palate The palate is fresh and bright with a pleasant spritzy sweetness and beautifully balanced acidity, resulting in a crisp and very moreish finish.

Food Pairings A perfect wine for any time of the day, from breakfast with your Eggs Benedict, served over ice on a hot day after mowing the lawn or served with a light dessert such as pavlova with strawberries and cream.
